Mindfulness Guide
This guide is geared toward parents but I'm sharing it with everyone in case there is information that might be useful to you specifically. Something that I took from it is the goal of being intentional in all of your relationships, as much as you can. Give people your full attention to let them know they're important to you. Speak with kindness and honesty (kindness is particularly important when you're speaking with honesty). I know that I struggle sometimes to be present. This means that you're only doing one thing at a time - no multitasking with intention! That doesn't work, especially when you're dealing with people. Mr. Lippy likes to say that people who think they don't have time for things aren't setting priorities. Schedule time for what's important to you and be present in all that you do - that's the key to mindfulness. - Start here.
