Drama

Get involved with the drama department through classes and productions and have a blast! Drama students in all grades get to perform on stage for their friends and family. Our play productions are performed at various locations, including our school and Coeur d'Alene High School.

High School drama students participate in district and state competitions and some festivals. Past competition winners include Caleb Drechsel and Mitch Shellman – 2009 1st place Districts, 3rd place State for IHSAA (Humorous Ensemble). 2010 placements: Caleb Drechsel, Mitch Shellman, Jacob Crotinger 1st place Districts and 5th place State for IHSAA (Humorous Ensemble); Thomas Leake, Kira Lewis, Taylor Kowalski, and Celeste Saul 3rd place Districts and 7th place State for IHSAA (Humorous Ensemble).

There are lots of opportunities for students to get involved behind the scenes for those non-performers as well! The Drama Club elects officers and meets twice per month when not in play rehearsals for Improv games. Some recent plays we have produced include Robin Hood, The Secret Garden, The Importance of Being Earnest, Sherlock Holmes, and Twelfth Night. Come join the fun!
